Get excited and make things... with science!
The Cape Town Science Hack Day will bring together scientists, hackers and designers/artists for a week-end of hacking, engagement and african ingenuity! We will all meet at the Africa Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Muizenberg. The exact address is 6 Melrose road, Muizenberg. See Google maps here: http://j.mp/yf25Co
The idea is to present technologies, APIs and other hacking tools, as well as science projects/data that lend themselves to some neat hacking on Saturday morning. Then, for the rest of the week-end, people can get together, work on projects and play creatively with science. On Sunday afternoon, people will present what theyve worked on and we will vote together for the best projects.
Food will be provided but not accommodation as we expect mostly locals to come.
